Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
We accept credit card payment. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Switch, Solo and American Express. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or by using our secure online ordering system.

Shipping And Handling
Post and packaging to mainland UK addresses £5.95. Highlands and Islands incur an additional charge. Delivery to Europe and the rest of the world subject to standard rates. All charges will be confirmed and agreed before any payment is taken.

Delivery Schedule
Next day delivery to most UK mainland destinations if you order before 12.00 noon Monday to Thursday. Orders placed on Friday before 12.00 noon will be delivered on the following Monday. Orders placed after 12.00 noon on Friday, Saturday and Sunday will be delivered on the following Tuesday. Saturday delivery for orders placed before 12.00 noon Friday available only in some areas and at an extra charge of £19.95. All postal hampers are attractively and securely packed for transport purposes. We reserve the right to change carriage prices in the event of an increase of fuel supplements. Substitutions Every effort will be made to supply the items as specified. However, the contents of the Hampers are subject to demand, availability and ruling of prices. Durham Hampers reserve the right to substitute items of similar value, should the need arise. International deliveries are normally delivered within 5 business days

Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Tax Charges
For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 17.5% VAT is added to goods that are not vat exempt. All other orders are VAT free.

If for any reason you wish to return your purchases on receipt, you may do so within 30 days for a full refund (We can arrange a courier to collect for a small charge) . No questions asked. Please call us on 0191 375 7511 to arrange collection.
Refund will take place within 30 days of written notice of cancellation once the hamper has been returned to us suitably packaged. All returned items must be in good condition. In these circumstances Durham Hampers will not be responsible for the cost of returning goods. Notification of order cancellation must be in writing.
